23 Jan Trend Micro launched email security solution to protect the UAE’s digital landscape
Trend Micro Incorporated announced the launch of Trend Micro Email Security, a cybersecurity solution which protects against email threats.
This new launch utilises cross-generational threat techniques such as machine learning, data loss prevention (DLP), sandbox analysis, and other methods to stop email-based threats.
Trend Micro provides advanced protection against business-email-compromise (BEC) scams through enhanced machine learning, content analysis, and email headers and will be making the solution available to the Middle East and Africa region, to improve safety measures in its digital landscape.
As email is a staple in communication for businesses, it is susceptible to threats and groups who want to compromise data.
However, Trend Micro’s Mid-Year Cybersecurity Report revealed that the company’s solutions detected and blocked 475 million threats, which included 281 million email threats.
