The CSO30 Awards is part of a global awards program aligned with Foundry’s and IDC’s commitment to the region.

The awards ceremony will be held annually and is considered a mark of excellence within the enterprise.

The inaugural edition of the CSO30 Awards will take place at the IDC CISO Roundtable on May 15 at Dubai’s Jumeirah Mina A’Salam Hotel, June 4 at Riyadh’s Mövenpick Hotel, and June 10 at Doha’s Grand Hyatt Hotel & Villas.

The theme of the conference is ‘Evolving Threats, Advanced Defenses: Cybersecurity in the Next Era’. It will feature presentations by top security experts, panel discussions with industry thought leaders, and sessions hosted by leading technology and security vendors.

The CSO30 Awards ceremony will recognize pioneering CISOs and CSOs who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in driving positive business outcomes through effective risk mitigation strategies. The awards are the ultimate recognition for the region’s top security leaders.

The CSO30 Awards is a recognized platform for cybersecurity excellence globally, having previously been held in the U.S., Europe, ASEAN, Asia/Pacific, India, and several other countries. The awards program has included successful editions of CSO100, CSO50, and CSO30 around the world. This year, it is being launched in the Middle East.

To be selected as a CSO30 Awards winner for the 2024 edition, applicants must highlight information security projects and cybersecurity initiatives that have demonstrated outstanding business value in the constantly evolving digital and threat landscape of 2023.

The awards will recognize excellence in security practices across the UAE, KSA, and Qatar and will honour the executives responsible for implementing robust security strategies at their organizations.
