PROTECT 2024 rethinking global security: geopolitical, operational and digital challenges

The start of this decade has brought about significant challenges, including a pandemic, economic collapse, a shift towards digitalisation and reliance on the internet, political conflicts around the world, social unrest, disruptive technologies, and a surge in cyber-attacks that pose a threat to the cyber world.

Given the dynamic landscape of global security, a new approach is needed to address security threats.

This approach should emphasize collaboration between the government and the private sector. Security threats today go beyond traditional military missions and require innovative solutions and unprecedented cooperation.

The 16th PROTECT International Conference Series on “Doing Business Amidst New Threats” will take place on April 18-19, 2024, at the New World Makati Hotel.

The event will address geopolitical and societal risks and will focus on building trust in the digital age. Policymakers, legislators, CEOs from diverse industries, representatives from financial institutions, academia, security experts, military personnel, scientists, and all stakeholders in security will participate in the conference. The conference provides an environment of open dialogue, facilitating the exchange of ideas and insights among participants.
