MedAire responds to demands for aviation security intelligence gathering operations

International SOS company, MedAire has announced is it boosting its aviation security intelligence gathering operations in the Middle East in response to growing demand. The company is adding new personnel to its Dubai operations centre with two dedicated aviation security specialists and a security manager. It has also enhanced its aviation security content management system and technological capabilities at the same site.

Hany Bakr has been appointed Senior V-P of aviation security and maritime and will also support MedAire’s product development portfolio. This includes a range of new online tools and capabilities for MedAire’s customers across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region.

MedAire CEO, Bill Dolny, commented: Global risks are increasing each day. From geopolitical instability to border restrictions due to the impact of Covid-19, the need for a local and regional presence to provide non-biased, timely aviation and maritime-specific advice has never been greater.”

Bakr has over 20 years’ experience as an aviation and security professional and has worked in the UK and the Gulf region.
