Irisity to open Abu-Dhabi office

AI video analytics provider, Irisity is continuing its expansion plans with the opening of a new sales office in the United Arab Emirates. The office will be based in Abu-Dhabi and will be headed up by newly appointed Marc Saunders.

 

Saunders will be Sales Director for GCC and have responsibility for managing Irisity’s sales activities in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

 

Marcus Backlund, CEO of the company, said: “We are thrilled with the opening of a dedicated sales office in the UAE and the appointment of a well-recognised and accomplished security professional as Marc Saunders. We believe our vast product offering will suit the needs of customers across multiple verticals including smart city, transportation safety, school security, and elderly care.”

 

Saunders will bring over a decade of experience in sales and technical expertise in security systems, video and AI applications. He has previously worked as Technical Sales Manager for Briefcam and Systems Applications Manager of Abu-Dhabi Monitoring and Control Centre.

 

The new UAE sales office is the fifth for the Irisity Group – joining Sweden, Israel, the USA and Singapore. It will serve customers in the GCC region, offering comprehensive AI video analytics products.
