Uniphore announces $400 million series E funding round to support explosive growth

Technology company Uniphore has announced its latest funding round of $400 million. This investment round is the company’s largest to date and comes as the company’s valuation rises to $2.5 billion.

March Capital alongside other existing Uniphore investors are expected to participate in this next round of funding. Previously the company, which specialises in conversational automation, has secured more than half a billion ($610 million) in funding.

Uniphore is the market leader for advancements in voice AI, computer vision and tonal emotion. As many businesses turn to artificial intelligence to aid their customer experience and interactions, the business has also announced plans to expand its business operations globally, specifically in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Uniphore’s rapid growth rate has also warranted new additions to its team as last year it celebrated milestones including being named one of the fastest growing tech companies  in North America on the 2021 Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ list .  The business has recently annunced the appointment of Hilarie Koplow-McAdams, Venture Partner, NEA, to Uniphore’s Board of
Directors. Mrs. Koplow-McAdams is a seasoned enterprise software and services executive who brings more than three decades of experience for both growth-stage and established companies.

Bolstering the strength of its leadership team, the Company recently appointed Balaji Raghavan as Chief Technology Officer,  Andrew Dahlkemper as Chief People Officer, and Vinod Muthukrishnan as Senior Vice President, Developer Platforms.
