Trend Micro set for GITEX Technology Week

The 41st GITEX Technology Week is taking place 17-21st October at the Dubai World Trade Centre and Trend Micro will be in attendance and looking to demonstrate the art of cybersecurity.

The company will be demonstrating several of its cutting-edge security solutions in order to empower organisations to protect their digital infrastructure in the evolving threat landscape.

It recently released its Midyear Security Roundup for H1 2021: Attacks from All Angles, that highlighted the ever-changing threat landscape and the need to secure a strong cyber security stance in the region. According to the report, the GCC saw over 62million email threats, more than 155,000 URL hosted attacks, and more than seven million malware detections.

As well as showcasing its security solutions from its own booth, Trend Micro is also hosting several sessions to the audience, led by its company experts.

Dr Moataz Bin Ali, Vice President and Managing Director, MENA for Trend Micro, said: “We’ve come a long way in safeguarding the operations of enterprises, and even further with the induced digital transformation over the past year.

“GITEX 2021 gives us yet another opportunity to demonstrate our industry-leading cybersecurity solutions to protect the new age enterprises across clouds, networks, devices, and endpoints – enabling them to take better control of their systems, while thriving in the new digital economy.”
