Did you join us for SecurMiddleEast yesterday? We were delighted to have over 100 security professionals join us virtually over Zoom as well as 60+ in-person attendees for the latest addition to the SecurMiddleEast Symposium line-up.
Held in Dubai, the theme for this event was the Smart City movement, with our guest speakers sharing their thoughts, expertise and best practice, drawn from the decades of high-level industry experience they have collectively accumulated.
Our first speaker was Eng. Arif Al Janahi who addressed the issue of security when using wireless networks. We also heard from Sameer Sharma from Intel who discussed the challenges around developing smart cities globally. Between our guest speakers – who were joining us from companies like ISS, Intel, SIRA, G2K Group, Atkins, Honeywell and Darktrace – they were able to share the technologies that are making waves when it comes to smart cities, how it’s being implemented and the lessons that can be learned for Dubai’s future smart cities.
