04 Nov Paxton invests in Middle East
Global security technology manufacturer, Paxton, has recruited a new sales team to help accelerate its growth in the Middle East.
The company has welcomed Arshad Mecci and Habib Ahmed to its team, in support of its expansion strategy and is anticipating further growth to support its Middle East customers in 2022.
Mecci has been appointed Middle Eastern Regional Sales Manager and brings over 30 years’ experience to the role from within the security industry. He said: “I have worked with major brands across the Middle East including Gallagher, Honeywell and Johnson Controls. I was actually an installer of Paxton systems in one of previous roles, so I have a great belief in the products we manufacture.”
In addition, Ahmed has accepted the role of Regional Sales Executive for the UAE. Working in both the UAE and the UK he has 10 years’ experience of working in the security sector. “In my 10 years of working in security I have gained fantastic knowledge of the sector, working with a number of key players such as Honeywell, Samsung Bosch and HIK Vision,” Ahmed commented.
Dan Drayton, International Sales Manager for Paxton, is looking forward to the challenge that the company’s growth in the region represents. He said: “We are really excited by the new team we have recruited in the Middle East. Both Arshad and Habib are well known and respected in the industry, and we look forward to them building the Paxton brand across in the years to come. As the Paxton product range continues to grow across access control and video surveillance platforms, our customers can expect a world class sales and marketing presence from Paxton in the Middle East.”
