New Middle East appointment for Southwest Microwave

Southwest Microwave has announced the appointment of Harun Ozerdem as Middle East sales manager.

Harun will manage business development activities in Bahrain, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, UAE and Yemen.

Harun has over 20 years of experience as a security industry professional. He comes to Southwest Microwave from global video security solutions provider Geutebrück, where he served as Middle East Regional Manager since 2001.

While at Geutebruck, Harun was said to be instrumental in achieving significant sales channel growth and partnership expansion in the MENA region.

He also had a proven track record of nurturing positive relationships with A&Es, consultants and integrators, and for developing integrated security systems that successfully meet end user requirements.

Prior to joining Geutebrück, Harun served in technical engineering roles for Dutch security integrator Wilco international and DHMI (Turkey Airport Authority). Harun holds a B.S. in Electronic Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
