With just weeks until Intersec thrusts the security industry into the spotlight, LEGIC is preparing to meet current and potential customers at the show so it can showcase its range of products and services.
LEGIC Identsystems was founded over 25 years ago in Switzerland. Since then it has enabled countless companies, airports, schools, hospitals and governments from around the world to deploy solutions with demanding security requirements.
Its products and services are based on key management, trusted services and secure, contactless semiconductors. There are three key categories for its products and services:
- Security Platform: the end-to-end cloud-based software services enable smartcard and smartphone authentication of end-users worldwide. The platform seamlessly integrates with customers’ applications to enable access control, shared mobility, smart city and industrial IoT services based on secure end-user authentication and mobile credential management.
- Security Modules: Working seamlessly with Security Platform, Security Modules with secure element are installed in infrastructure and are used for smartcard and smartphone-based user authentication, access and usage control for buildings, vehicles, industrial equipment, and ePayment terminals. They support secure RFID, NFC and Bluetooth Low Energy communications, all in a single compact module.
- Smartcard ICs: For smartcard applications such as badges and key fobs used for authorised access to office buildings, schools, airports, government buildings, hotel rooms, private dwellings, etc.
LEGIC has recently formed a long-term strategic partnership with Sensry to create a secure, end-to-end industrial IoT sensor platform.
