28 Sep IT service providers accreditation programme starts in Oman
The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT) has released a second set of IT service standards under the accreditation programme for IT service providers.
The second phase includes standards in both Managed Security Services and Professional Security Services said the Ministry in a statement.
The IT Accreditation programme was launched by MTCIT at the end of 2019 for IT service providers eligible to serve government administrative units. The accreditation is based on national standards determined by MTCIT and in line with international best practice.
The published accreditation standards can be found on the ministry’s website, along with the application process for the programme. Accreditation will commence the first quarter of 2022.
