International homeland security specialists bring new innovations to agenda-setting Milipol Qatar 2018 this month

The 12th edition of the leading homeland security and civil defence event will be the most comprehensive in the show’s history and will bring together thousands of industry professionals and thought leaders, according to its organisers, the Ministry of Interior (MOI) of the State of Qatar and the French-based Comexposium Security, Milipol Qatar.

Held under the patronage of H.H the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the three-day show has already attracted leading industry players from across the globe who will showcase their latest innovations for safety and security. Defence specialists from Qatar, France, Turkey, Bulgaria, China, Denmark, Italy, Germany, SpainMorocco, UK, USA, Russia and Slovenia have confirmed their participation, across industries including public security, defence solutions and equipment, telecom security and technologies and firefighting.

This year’s edition will, for the first time, include live demonstrations, where exhibitors, visitors and buyers can witness new products and innovations in action. The organisers expects about 270 exhibitors and 7,000 visitors.

Milipol Qatar 2018 has also incorporated a Civil Defence Exhibition and Conference. The collaboration of the two shows has resulted in the region’s leading Homeland Security and Civil defence event, bringing together key global civil defence players, for a series of focused conference sessions and agenda-setting panel discussions on the latest and emerging civil defence trends and best practices.

Running alongside the main Milipol exhibition and for the second time, Milipol Qatar will feature three seminars sessions that will include highly informative presentations, case studies and disruptive panel debates featuring international thought leaders on three topics: Cyber security & Cyberthreats, Civil Defence, Large Events Security Management.
