The financial landscape is rapidly evolving and industry players must keep up, to this end, the International Data Corporation has announced that the Middle East edition of its IDC Financial Services Congress 2023 will take place on June 13th.
Hosted at the Ritz-Carlton at the Dubai International Financial Centre, the theme of the event will be ‘The Adoption and Utilisation of All Things Digital’. The event will highlight thought leaders’ opinions and insights into the latest trends and strategies which are shaping the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sectors.
Cyrus Daruwala, Managing Director of IDC Financial Insights Asia/Pacific, commented: “The adoption of digital transformation is the key strategy that will propel the industry forward and enable institutions to meet tomorrow’s challenges.”
The IDC Financial Services Congress 2023 will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, presentations and more, looking at cloud management, AI/ML integration and industrialisation, digital core systems, innovation excellence, cybersecurity risk typologies, frictionless banking, financial wellbeing and more. All with a focus on evolving traditional BFSI organisations into businesses that can make use of the digital marketplace.
“Traditional financial institutions are facing stiff competition from digital banks and insurers that use data to deliver innovative products and services,” continued Daruwala. “To overcome these challenges, they must look to embrace an organisational culture that prioritises trust, resiliency, transparency, sustainability, productivity, and efficiency for the digital-first BFSI organisation.”
