23 Feb GISEC GLOBAL 2023: What’s in store for the conference?
Zero Trust Access security systems are set to shine at GISEC Global 2023, taking place between March 14th-March 16th. With discussion of the innovative system replacing VPNs in the middle east, the modern technology takes a ‘zero trust, always verify’ model, expected to be highly sought after in 2023 and beyond.
The innovations in technology, all of which will be on display at GISEC Global 2023, comes off the back of predictions that the regions cybersecurity market is set to double in value over the next five years, growing from US$20 billion in 2022 to US$44.7 billion in 2027, clocking 17% annual growth.
This is all of course, to combat the growing sophistication of cyber-attacks taking place both around the Middle East and across the world. Placing more importance on the discussions taking place at GISEC Global 2023 now, than ever before.
Due to the Pandemic, work from home has become much more common around the Middle East, more people are accessing the internet than ever before, opening up more vulnerabilities to companies whilst working from their home networks.
“In our increasingly digital world, security is a key concern and area of focus”, said Waseem Hashem. Business group director for Modern Work & Security at Microsoft UAE. “At Microsoft, we have a long-standing commitment to securing our platforms and providing solutions, and our answer to safeguarding the digital space in the face of evolving threats is the Zero Trust network and architecture.”
Titans of industry will discuss cyber-attacks and existing countermeasures looking to the future in the process. GISEC Global is looking to host discussions with Huawei, Microsoft, Spire Solutions, CPX, Mandiant, Pentera, Cloudfare, Crowdstrike, Edgio, Secureworks, Synack, Threatlocker and Votiro.
