Get ready for SecurMiddleEast this week

We’re all geared up and ready to greet everyone tuning into the SecurMiddleEast event in Riyadh this week – and there’s still time to reserve your place to join us remotely.

On Wednesday we’ll be joined by a host of speakers and panellists who’ll be discussing the challenges and security issues organisations face on a daily basis. As an industry, the security playing field is constantly evolving, developing and transforming for the better and that is thanks to the hard work and dedication of key players like those speaking at this event. This is an opportunity to hear from some of the best minds in the security sector and learn more about innovation and best practice in enterprise security solutions.

We’ve previously brought together the industry with our Dubai event in June, and now in Riyadh we’ll be doing the same.

This event will focus on Saudi Vision 2030, Smart Cities and Securing the Borders. The packed agenda includes two roundtable discussions. The first is on ‘transformations in video surveillance and security in Saudi Arabia’ hosted by Saudi Customs Department’s Eng. Abdullah Alzamil, Ayman Alnakli and special guests. The second, led by Aluisio Figueiredo (ISS), Jeff Burgess (BCD), Tamer Ibrahim (Saudi Bell) and other guests will discuss ‘Vision 2030 future trends – AI and IoT in the security market’.

There are three topics that will be shaping the day’s event discussions:

Saudi Vision 2030: As Saudi’s ambition to become a global hub for innovation and technology continues at a pace, cybersecurity and other topics surrounding national security become vital to its success.

Smart City Plans: By 2026 experts predict that the global market for smart city solutions and services could reach $98billion. Saudi’s $500billion mega city Neom is a key part of the Saudi Vision 2030 as it shifts towards technology and away from oil.

Securing the Borders: There are plenty of challenges facing the securing of Saudi Arabia’s land borders. The key focus centres around auto number plate recognition, cameras and under vehicle surveillance systems.
