The Arab International Cybersecurity Summit (AICS)

The Arab International Cybersecurity Summit (AICS), being held from 6-8 December at Exhibition World Bahrain, will serve as the largest convention, in the region, for government regulators, industry professionals and solution providers to discuss and devise strategies to secure their cyber and IT infrastructure. With the central theme as Empowering Global Cooperation in Cybersecurity, the summit will offer a global overview to all aspects of the cybersecurity and information security hierarchy in any organization. 

Co-hosted by National Cyber Security Centre and held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, this event will have the highest level of engagement in the region with participation from government, industry and business vertical including BFSI, oil & gas, energy, utilities, IT & telecom, manufacturing, education and more. 

The content at AICS will be delivered in different formats:

• The plenary stage is a strategic high profile conference, where cybersecurity and information security leaders and experts from countries such as Estonia, Israel, Germany, UAE, Kuwait, Nigeria, Luxembourg, Thailand, Malaysia, USA, UK, Italy, Egypt, Lebanon, Croatia, Qatar and India, will discuss challenges, opportunities and solution
• The block stage is going to provide a platform to further deep-dive into technical aspects pertaining to the specific topics
• Room 42 will host some of our specific executive and technical sessions that are going to provide attendees with an overview on key cybersecurity subjects through table top exercises, simulation games and live demos. Curated in support with content partner SI SANS, these sessions will have limited seats available.
• Hack arena will be the most desired activation zone on the show floor, which will “Capture the Flag” and other activities around the good internet habits for school and university students. At CTF, through different levels of exercises, teams will be able to prove their mettle at ethical hacking and cyber awareness.
