Dubai Police expand its vehicle fleet

Dubai Police has expanded its fleet of exclusive vehicles with a Cadillac CT5. The compact sedan will be hitting the roads of Dubai as a police patrol car.

Dubai Police’s commitment to having a versatile fleet of cars ready for any situation means that the CT5 went through a rigorous assessment period to determine that it was up to the task. The luxury car features Cadillac’s award-winning rear wheel drive architecture, a turbo-charged performance and is supported by the company’s latest technologies. It is powered via a 2.0-litre Twin-Scroll Turbo engine and includes plenty of driver assist tech, such as a rear camera mirror, forward collision alert, front pedestrian braking and low speed forward automatic emergency braking.

Dubai Police’s Maj Gen Dr Al Razouqi, said: “The United Arab Emirates in general, and Dubai specifically, are renowned for their standards in safety and security, but also of luxury. At Dubai Police, we always aim to upgrade our fleet with nameplates that match the Emirates’ standards as well as best serve our force, and the Cadillac CT5 perfectly does so.”
